What I Love About My Small Home:

I love that, although petite, my 5th floor “penthouse” (commonly known as a walk-up) is flooded with natural light in each of its 3 distinct rooms. I have 5 unobstructed, sun-drenched windows that set the bright and tranquil tone of my home. The railroad style layout allows for unique styling in each the bedroom, living room and kitchen. The bedroom is minimally designed with two bright windows and white on white décor, with a pop of color from Turkish Kilim pillows. The living room is the most eclectic with a wraparound gallery wall displaying modern photography as well as antique art that belonged to my two grandmothers alongside international treasures I picked up in Morocco and India. The kitchen is fashionable but functional with a custom made bright white island and 2 counter stools, on top a one-of-a-kind Afghan rug. And, of course, no home is complete without the obligatory fully-stocked bar cart. The three rooms, together, make for eclectic, clean and bohemian living.
