What I Love About My Small Home:
We love our home because it is the perfect size. It is a humble nest for our small family of three, yet we all have our favorite spots of our own: we love the balcony-garden where my husband practices his Wing Chun surrounded by my plants and a view of the city, we love our minimalist and calm bedroom, our petite yet charming bathroom, and our 5 year old son's arts and crafts gallery wall.
At daytime we get so much light and we love that we painted all the walls, trims, and doors crisp white to optimize the natural daylight and provide a blank canvas for the rest of our decor. At night we have a city-lights view, and the warm lighting we installed create a calm ambiance to compliment it. We keep the kitchen and dining area simple, uncluttered and calm; because it is the main area of the home where a lot of the daily activities goes on, and it is also where our guests love to gather round after dinner and enjoy the night.
