Artist Lysa Jordan and architect Sergio Castano live with their dog Walter in a working and living loft nestled in the Saint Henri neighborhood. Quite unconventional from typical Montreal apartments, their pad is a modern, minimal, and creative space for both of them. "It's a stimulating and inspiring place. The light is abundant throughout the day and I've got all I need at hand to paint at any time. I can relax as much as concentrate for work." Her abstract paintings are made with a selection of acrylics, oil pastels, and inks, expressing a balance between fullness and emptiness and directed by an emotion of tranquility. With the impressive windows and soothing artwork carefully displayed, one feels easily at home here.
