Our Airstream was a labor of love and a full renovation that took two years to finish. It is a 1972 31 footer. We dreamed of having a vintage Airstream for a few years and finally pulled the trigger on one. My husband did all the work. The shell was taken off the frame so framework/welding could be done. For now we are parked adjacent to the shop my husband is working in on another Airstream project.
