IKEA isn't exactly the first place you think of when looking for wedding decor, but I'd argue that that's actually a good thing for two reasons. First, the price is right, and there's no "wedding upcharge" there—which is a real phenomenon and exists for everything from cake to candles and beyond with many vendors. Second, much of what IKEA sells doesn't feel totally specific to a wedding, so you can actually use things again and again. And a lot of times, IKEA is way cheaper than renting and can be donated if you really have no need to keep anything. So I've been browsing the website for items I might want to use at my wedding in May, and these are 12 promising options that I'm going to check out IRL soon.
