What I Love About My Small Home:
We traded a brand new, 2200 sq. ft. house, with a tiny yard and a long commute for a 50 year old, 960 sq. ft. home with a spacious yard, fantastic neighborhood and 10 minute commute. Even though we have 4 kids 5 and under sharing our little home with us, we have never regretted the trade. For us the additional time spent at home (instead of the car), the spring and summer evenings under our linden tree, and the ease of cleaning up a smaller house are more than worth it! Sometimes having less house allows you to have more life.
