What I Love About My Small Home:
I love that we have stuck with this home through all situations and states of repair - from a hovel-like misery box that we purchased because it was the only thing we could afford, through five years as absentee landlords, and finally an extremely long DIY renovation that we flew between the North and South Island for every second weekend. This flat has been a labour of love for us. It's our first and only property, and after ten years and a lot of anguish and false starts, it finally really feels like home.
