My husband and I moved to Denver from Jersey City, New Jersey for a change of pace and after getting married the year prior, we were ready to buy our first home. Having lived in small apartments together previously, we knew we wanted a house that had space to entertain and enough yard space for a garden.
We saw several houses before finding this one, and as soon as we stepped inside, we knew it was perfect for us. Both of us come from large families that love to entertain, so the open layout of the first floor really appealed to us. We love cooking, having friends over for dinner and board games, and throwing the occasional dance party, so having this larger space to have friends over was definitely one of our top priorities in choosing a home.
